Two minutes after Engine 423 and Truck 403 were alerted for the fire alarm at Lifetime communications filled the box. As Engine 423 and Truck 403 arrived together they encountered moderate smoke conditions throughout the gym. As other units were arriving and taking their positions they located a dryer off with minimal extension in the ladies’ locker room. Engine 403 layed in and supplied Engine 23. The Rescue Engine took the Rescue assignment and Medic 403 treated and transported one smoke inhalation patient. Battalion 443 (Barklage) had the Main Street Command.
