The Honor Guard traveled to the National Fire Academy in Emmittsburg, Maryland to participate in the National Fallen Firefighter’s Memorial weekend.  The President of the United States spoke at the ceremony.  Dave Whitacre and Rick Vestal were wreath guards during the ceremony for the wreath the President presented, Debbie Rothlein carried our department colors for the ceremony, Jon Bullock was a flag presenter for the ceremony, and Amy Beechler acted as Detail Commander for the flag presenters.  Bruce Suslowitz, Rick Vestal, Dave Whitacre, Debbie Rothlein, Jon Bullock, and Amy Beechler were also Honor Guard and family escorts for the Candle Light Vigil Saturday night.  It was a lot of work and a very busy weekend but everyone did an awesome job, represented the Department well and had fun!
