Just as the day was beginning units from the City were alerted to Main Street near Fairfax Square for a report of one trapped after ripping a telephone pole in half. Engine 403 arrived first and found a two vehicle accident with the driver trapped. The Rescue Engine arrived, stabilized and removed the driver’s door within five minutes and the driver was transported to Fairfax Hospital via Medic 403. Battalion 443 had Main Street Command.
