From Thursday, August 30, 2007 to Monday, September 3, 2007 members from the City of Fairfax Fire Department showed their dedication and support to the Muscular Dystrophy Association by hitting the streets collecting for the Fill the Boot Campaign.

The City of Fairfax exceeded their goal of $25,000 by more than double.  The final total that the Department raised for our 2007 MDA total was $62,000.

The dedication and support by ALL members of our Department collecting on and off-duty were a direct result of this tremendous accomplishment!  Thank you!

On Monday, September 3rd Chief Owens, Lieutenant Harman, and I had the great pleasure of representing our Department at the MDA Telethon!
