On June 22, 2010 at 2048 Station 403 was alerted to a townhouse fire on Friendship court. T403 was on the road and arrived first to find an end unit townhouse with smoke showing from the front door. T403 crew spoke to the occupant to confirm all occupants were out of the structure. Knowing that FE403 was arriving on the scene T403 entered the townhouse with a watercan and found fire int he kitchen and dining room area. T403 crew was able to put out most of the fire prior to FE403 handline being deployed. FE403 entered and mopped up the remaining hot spots while T403 searched the first and second floor.

Several Fairfax County units assisted with mop up and checking for extension. Thorough overhaul was performed and some hidden fire was discovered in a pipe chase. That fire was handled and no other extension was discovered.
