This month all swift water rescue personnel in the City of Fairfax Fire department have taken a trip to Oak Mar pool to practice some of the skills. VA LODD - Zachary Whitacre - Gore Volunteer Fire Department FEBRUARY 15 - Firefighter Zachary Taylor "Zach" Whitacre, 21, of Gore, VA, died in the Line of Duty on Feburary 13, 2012 as result of an apparatus crash.
