T403 BC443 go to fully involved fire in Fairfax County

APRIL 22 - Just after Lunch time T403 and BC443 were dispatched to a house fire with reports of flames from the roof. Initial units arrived on scene to find fire through the roof of a single family dwelling. The water supply situation required an additional engine to the assignment to complete the lay. City crews go to house fire in 40s area

APRIL 09 - As the members of Truck 403 were eating lunch, they were sent as the second due truck company for a house fire in Company 40s area. A column of smoke was visible from miles away as companies approached the scene. Engine 440 arrived on the scene with a two story SFD with the attached garage heavily involved and initiated a transitional attack with the members of Tower 440 and Hazmat 440.

Commercial Building Fire with Burn Patient

APRIL 07 - Shortly after a morning drill, city units along with multiple Fairfax County units were dispatched to a building fire in old town. With crews were en-route, dispatch indicated that there was going to be a possible burn patient requiring EMS assistance. M403 arrived on scene and was met by a severely burned adult male. RE433 Assists with one trapped down an embankment

MARCH 25 - Before line up RE433 was dispatched for an accident with entrapment. Snow had fallen on a late March morning leaving three inches of snow on the ground.

Crews arrived on scene to find one person with their foot trapped in the door. A vehicle had gone off an embankment of a driveway and was pinned against a tree on the driver side with the drivers foot stuck in the door.

Rescue Engine and Chief Run a Vehicle Overturned in Mantua

FEBRUARY 28 - Around 0230 Rescue Engine 433 and Battalion 443 were dispatched along with units from Fairfax County for a vehicle accident with a report of a subject trapped on Barkley Drive in the Mantua Subdivision. Medic 430 and Engine 430 arrived on the scene first and found a vehicle overturned in a ditch with a unconscious subject still inside. City Crews make quick work of first due Commercial Fire

FEBRUARY 26 - At approximately 0300 units were alerted by PD of a working commercial fire on Campbell Ave. RE433 (Jeckell, Virts, McCusker, Whitney, Jeniec) arrived first to find fire and heavy smoke on side Alpha. RE433 forced entry and stretched a hand line to the front door and made entry pushing back heavy fire conditions.
