RE433 Extricates one on I66 EB

JULY 25 - On July 23, 2010 at 1621hrs units were dispatched to an auto accident with entrapment on I66 EB @ Nutley St. Battalion 443(Ahrens) arrived onscene first and and reported a single vehicle with one patient into the woods that would need a door removed. Local Members Attend Annual MDA Camp

JUNE 29 - Yesterday nine (9) firefighters traveled to the annual Muscular Dystrophy Summer Camp in Leonardtown, MD to spend the day with some of the 45 children at the weeklong camp. Truck 403's First Due Truck to Vienna

JUNE 28 - Just as the thunderstorm was passing through the City, Truck 403 was dispatched to Box 3100 for the AFA. Just after clearing the alarm, Engine 413 filled the box for a basement fire at 1654 Montmorency Ct. E413 reported a small fire in the basement with smoke conditions throughout the house.

County school security SUV burns

JUNE 27 - At 0854 on Sunday morning FE403 and M403 were alerted to a vehicle fire at Bevan Drive and Fairchester Drive. How can you say no to these smiling faces?! Tri-Kids Update

JUNE 23 - We couldn't so back by popular is demand and NOW OPEN for registration is the 2nd Annual Tri-Fire Kids Race. Last year we had 45 participants finishing this slight challenge with smiles on their faces, a sense of accomplishment, and asking when the next race was.

First Due Townhouse Fire

JUNE 22 - On June 22, 2010 at 2048 Station 403 was alerted to a townhouse fire on Friendship court. T403 was on the road and arrived first to find an end unit townhouse with smoke showing from the front door. T403 crew spoke to the occupant to confirm all occupants were out of the structure. A Shift Extricates Several

JUNE 17 - OK...So, it was a drill. A Shift had a three hour MUD which was dedicated to extrication scenarios. We began the night with a basic overturned vehicle with one victim trapped. This scenario was completed quickly and we set up for the next. The next one involved a school bus overturned onto two vehicles.
